What sort of produce or merchandise may I sell at the market?

You are welcome to sell anything that has been home-grown or hand-crafted.  We are looking for quality craftmanship that is unique.  The Walkerville Farmer's Market is not looking for any mass-produced products.

How do I apply for a stall at Walkerville Farmer's Market?

You can download an application form from the 'Stallholder Applications' link in the Main Menu on the left of your screen.  This you may either fax to 086 218 4754 or email it to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Upon assessment of your application by the committee you will then be notified as whether or not we would require a sample product to assess or as to your success of the application.

If I am bringing fresh vegetables to sell at the market, does it need to be organic?

No, your produce just needs to be home-grown.  If it is grown free of chemicals that would be ideal but it is certainly not a prerequisite.  We would require that you specify as to whether your produce has been chemically grown or organically grown on your application form.  You will be required to display how the produce is grown at your stall.

What do I need to bring along for my stall on market days?

You will need to bring along your own tables and chairs.  No umbrellas are necessary as the stalls are roofed with thatch.
